Alma De Lon grew up in Munich and is mother of one daughter. 

 

She has been a member of the Wiesbaden State Theatre since 2006 and previously, from 1996 to 2004, a member of the Heidelberg City Theatre.

 

Alma De Lon is a graduate of, among other institutions, the University of Maryland (Master of Music) and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (post graduate diploma)

 

She is the founder of the Cantanti Academy and the opera company "Pocket Opera De Lon."

 

Since its founding in 2016, she has been the artistic director of the Lufthansa Concert Choir, and since 2019, she has been in the artistic management of the Lufthansa Singing Voices.

 

From 2023 to 2024, she directed the

Choir of the statistisches Bundesamt, Wiesbaden

 

Since 2014, she has directed the vocal ensemble Cantanti D'Alma.

 


Her stage roles include among many others Venus in Wagner’s Lohengrin, Orfeo in Gluck's opera "Orfeo ed Euridice" and Santuzza in Pietro Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana." She is the winner of several competitions and scholarships, including one from the Munich Singing School of the Bavarian State Opera.

 

From 2018 to 2024, she was vocal instructor at the Mainz School of Acting and teaches classical and pop singing privately, both online and in person in Wiesbaden.

 

Alma De Lon loves classical singing but also enjoys performing with jazz and pop groups, achieving considerable success.

 

Alma De Lon offers singing lessons (classical, pop, and jazz) in German, English, French, and Italian. She also works as a voice and speech coach for singers, actors, talk hosts, and anyone who relies on their voice and speech.
